Wickless Product Use
Slice Some Scent: Slice your way to a wonderful smelling home! Our Slice Some Scent Wax is soft enough to cut and has the ability to hold an extra amount of your favorite fragrances. Our blend is typically compatible with all warmers, but tests are recommended to find your favorite combo. A little goes a long way and the amount you use depends on how many warmers reside in your home. First, carefully cut the wax into slices / wedges like one big pie, ensuring that the teeth on the knife are face down. Place one slice / wedge into a wax safe warmer and enjoy. An eco friendly wooden knife is included with every order (not every jar) to use for all scents, simply wiping with a paper towel between each use / scent. Each jar holds approximately 7.25 - 7.5 ounces net weight.
Jar of Broken Pieces: No need to cut, scoop, or snap with our Jar of Broken Pieces! Simply sprinkle out desired amount of wax pieces into warmer dish without the extra work. Blending made easy for those who prefer to create custom scents unique to your home. Begin by shaking the jar with the lid on to break up the pieces, slowly sprinkle desired amount into a wax safe warmer and enjoy. Each jar holds approximately 3.65 - 3.75 ounces (more than a typical clamshell).
❦ Since scent strength is subjective and depends on many factors in your home, you may slowly add additional wax until desired scent preference is met. We recommend allowing wax to melt at least 20-30 minutes prior to judgement, so product is not wasted.
Discarding Wax: There are several ways to remove/replace wax. Some turn off the warmer, allow wax to harden and scrape it out with a butter knife. Some place the dish in the freezer to allow the wax to cool faster and scrape out with a butter knife (dish is hot/warm to the touch using this method). Our favorite method to prevent wait time, less effort, avoid messy hands, and touching hot dishes is the cotton ball method. Place several cotton balls into liquid wax and wait for all wax to be absorbed, carefully discard cotton balls into trash.
Wickless Care Instructions
Do NOT place entire jar on a hot plate or warmer, the container is plastic and is subject to melt. Do not pour melted wax back into the jar with fresh wax, used wax has scent that has burned off and will ruin your fresh wax that has not yet been used.
Keep all products within site and out of reach to pets and children. Do not leave products unattended or in harsh weather conditions. Do not consume. Do not use wax products on skin. Always use wax approved warmers for wax based items. Do NOT use wax in washing machines or use in place of other household items.
Do NOT attempt wicking ANY of our products. The plastic jars that wickless items come in are NOT considered a candle approved container and it will melt. Wickless items have more fragrance and can become a fire hazard if used in candles at such amount. This is why we perform extensive testing on our fragrance oil blends and how we come to a decision on which blends are best for candles and which are best in melts as our final product to sell. In addition, these are our finished products that are not to be tampered with or resold.
Body Care Information
Our bath & body products are formulated to be skin safe and scented below the maximum IRFA usage rate percentages. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Please review all ingredients on the website prior to purchasing and review all product instructions on the packaging label prior to use.
Other Useful Wax Information
Warmer Types: Our wax blend for tarts have optimal strength performance in higher watt warmers and NOT when used in Scentsy or wall plug-in type warmers. Our wax blend for scoops have optimal strength performance in any warmer, including Scentsy type warmers.
My personal warmer preferences in my home are hot plates with a wide and shallow round bowl or tealights that require a flame as the heat source.
Some higher watt bulb warmers perform acceptable as well. 24 watt hot plate warmers are equivalent to 40 watt bulb warmers, both are usually electric plug-ins.Some homes require more than one warmer, depending on the layout.
Cure Time: Cure time is the event in which your melts are left alone to allow fragrance oils and the wax blend to bind / marinate with one another to allow for a stronger, longer lasting scent throw. While my wax is not necessary to cure very long, some still prefer to do so as wax is like a fine wine and gets better with time!
Longevity & Strength: Wax lasts an average of 5-12 hours, some can last for days! Longevity is based on warmer type, oils used, cure time, size of room and your own senses.
Hotter warmers throw the scent very strong initially, but will burn the fragrance oils off faster and not last as long. Lower watt warmers will not throw the scent as strong but will linger longer.
The size of your home, drafts or lack thereof, warmer placement, certain foods cooking, fans, a furnace, air conditioner, allergies, cigarette smoke, sinus issues and other circumstances may also interfere with results.
Turning off your warmer once the aroma has filled the room SHOULD leave the scent to linger and make that particular melt last longer since not on a constant heat source.
Once all scent has diminished from evaporation, carefully discard liquid wax from warmer dish and replace with new wax. See Product Use for instructions on how to safely replace your scent.

Wood Wick Information
Wood wicks are natural and behave very different from cotton wicks. Please see below on what to look for when using a wood wick candle.
❦ Wood wicks may make a loud crackle, soft crackle, buzzing noise, or no noise at all. The sound (if any) can also vary by different scent blends or even throughout the burn on the exact same candle.
❦ White smoke may emit from the wood wick candle and is a normal occurrence while fragrance oil is evaporating. Black smoke may occur from a draft or if the wood wick is too long / has old char that has not been removed. If you experience constant black smoke and/or very tall flames, safely extinguish the candle, allow to cool, trim the wick to the appropriate length, and relight.
❦ The flame of a wood wick may start erratic upon lighting, but should settle down later in the burn. The flame may dim down very low to the wax and appear as if it is going to go out. As long as it does not fully extinguish itself and there is some type of glow with a good scent throw, this is still considered a good quality candle for wood.
